We are excited to announce that the Imperial Regional Alliance has been awarded the USDA REAP Technical Assistance Grant. This funding will support local businesses and agricultural producers by providing valuable resources to help them implement renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. The REAP program provides grants and loans to agricultural producers and small businesses. The program covers up to 50% of the cost for renewable energy systems (wind, geothermal, solar, etc.) REAP funds also may be used to pay for energy efficiency improvements such as insulation, lighting, and replacing energy-inefficient equipment.
