The Imperial Regional Alliance Internship Program connects students with meaningful, hands on experience while helping employers access emerging talent across our region.

As part of our workforce development initiatives, including our partnership with the K-16 Collaborative, the program strengthens the link between education and industry. Together, we are creating clear career pathways that prepare students to meet today’s workforce needs.

Process

We begin with a comprehensive assessment of each student’s skills, interests, and career goals to ensure thoughtful placement with employers aligned to their academic background and professional objectives.

Through these internships, students apply classroom knowledge in professional settings, build essential workplace skills, and expand their industry networks. At the same time, employers gain access to prepared, motivated talent, strengthening their future workforce pipeline.

Students

Our internship program provides hands on experience in a professional environment where you can develop in-demand skills, explore career paths, and build connections with local employers.

Eligibility

Students must be currently enrolled at Imperial Valley College or SDSU Imperial Valley. Applicants should be in good academic standing, remain enrolled throughout the internship period, and be prepared to commit to the required hours with professionalism and reliability.

Bi-National Students

At this time we are only accepting applications from students enrolled at CETYS Universidad Campus. To be eligible you must reside in Imperial County.
